Accepting New Patients
Timothy Gloyd, MD, MPH graduated with a Bachelors in Science in Chemistry and Spanish from University of New Mexico and earned his doctorate of Medicine and Masters in Public Health at St. Georges University in Grenada. He attended the University of New Mexico for his residency in Family Medicine and is Board Certified by the American Board of Family Medicine. He speaks English and Spanish.
While doing his residency at UNM, Dr. Gloyd enjoyed all aspects of medicine. He says, “I’ll care for anyone from age 0 to 150 years old, no one younger or older”. He chose rural medicine because he wanted to be able to work in a clinic, a hospital, delivering babies and in the emergency room.
Dr. Gloyd specializes in:
-Opiate Dependence/Suboxone treatment
With patient care, Dr. Gloyd feels it is most important for the patient to feel comfortable when coming into his office without any barriers. He enjoys getting to know all his patients on a personal level and allowing them to help with the decision making of treatment. He hopes that during each visit, there will be laughs and smiles and learning about each new patient and their lives.
