<li>Printing patient education materials, pertinent ancillary reports for patients/Nursing Staff during patient stay and at discharge.</li>

<li>Checking orders input and assisting with order entries per protocols.</li>



<li>Registering patients.</li>



<li>Assisting with patient transfers.</li>

<li>Checks all charts when physician has completed them to obtain STAT and discharge order.</li>



<li>Notifies Housekeeping of room numbers after discharge in a timely manner.</li>



<li>Informs nursing staff of pertinent information regarding patient care and procedures from ancillary departments.</li>



<li>Reports patient diet type, food allergies, and preferences to the Dietary Department.&nbsp;</li>



<li>Communicate patient status, pending orders and information during transfers, at exchange of shift, and as needed.</li>



<li>Notifies Central Supply of needed supplies for the unit.</li>



<li>Assisting the Nuse Aide when needed.</li>



<li>Enters patient service charges, assists with contract agreements, and payment collections.</li>

<li>Recognizes variance of diagnostic tests, vital signs and assessments that should be reported to the physicians and notifies physicians in a time frames appropriate to the variance</li>

<li>Keeps the Charge Nurse informed regarding resident change of condition or other observations such as symptoms, reactions, or other changes in patient status.</li>

<li>Assists residents with fingernail care as scheduled and needed.</li>



<li>Transfers residents from bed, to chair, to commode, to gurneys using gait belts and lifts as appropriate.</li>



<li>Assists residents in bathing to include bedside sponge baths and hall showers regularly or as needed.</li>



<li>Assists residents in oral care to include brushing teeth, brushing, soaking, and adhering dentures, and clearing oral cavity of debris after meals prior to residents resting.</li>



<li>Assisting residents in eating by feeding, or monitoring proper airway protection methods prescribed.</li>



<li>Maintains residents dignity and privacy at all times.</li>



<li>Assists residents in restroom activities as needed to include changing soiled adult protection diapers, clothing and bedding, assisting to bedside commode, room commodes as needed and providing optimal perineal care as needed according to the residents&#8217; care plans to reduce potential for infection taking care to preserve resident privacy and dignity.</li>



<li>Ensures residents are in safe environment to include lowering beds and clearing furniture path as needed.</li>

<p>A tax rate of $0.249959 per $100 valuation has been proposed by the governing body of SEMINOLE HOSPITAL DIST.<br>PROPOSED TAX RATE: $0.249959 per $100<br>NO-NEW-REVENUE TAX RATE: $0.245779 per $100<br>VOTER-APPROVAL TAX RATE: $0.249960 per $100<br>The no-new-revenue tax rate is the tax rate for the 2023 tax year that will raise the same amount of property tax revenue for SEMINOLE HOSPITAL DIST<br>from the same properties in both the 2022 tax year and the 2023 tax year.<br>The voter-approval rate is the highest tax rate that SEMINOLE HOSPITAL DIST may adopt without holding an election to seek voter approval of the rate.<br>The proposed tax rate is not greater than the no-new-revenue tax rate. This means that SEMINOLE HOSPITAL DIST is proposing to increase property taxes<br>for the 2023 tax year.<br>A PUBLIC MEETING TO VOTE ON THE PROPOSED TAX RATE WILL BE HELD ON 09/12/2023 05:30 PM (CT) at Seminole Hospital District, 209 NW 8th,<br>Seminole, TX.<br>The proposed tax rate is also not greater than the voter-approval tax rate. As a result, SEMINOLE HOSPITAL DIST is not required to hold an election to<br>seek voter approval of the rate. However, you may express your support for or opposition to the proposed tax rate by contacting the members of the<br>SEMINOLE HOSPITAL DISTRICT of SEMINOLE HOSPITAL DIST at their offices or by attending the public meeting mentioned above.</p>
