The Team Member of the Year Award recognizes an individual who has made a major contribution to the success of our District mission: providing excellent health care to our community. While there were several outstanding candidates, this year’s recipient was a unanimous favorite. The 2021 Team Member of the Year distinguished herself and the District by providing unparalleled leadership, mentorship, and planning skills. She was a role model for jumping in when patient care support was critical. She displayed confidence in managing acute Covid cases when transfers were non-existent and our resources were limited. When not dealing with critical cases, she focused on recruiting and training the human resources required to build a better foundation for District staffing. Her diverse skill set and drive to achieve patient care excellence is a tribute to her profession and to the District. The 2021 Team member of the Year is Maegen Garner!
