Licensed Clinical Social Worker (Remote-Telehealth)

The Licensed Clinical Social Worker is responsible for providing initial evaluations, individual, group, couples and/or family therapy. In addition will provide behavioral health consultation services to the primary care team within SHD.

  1. Assess patients as necessary through examination, chart review and patient interviews, physician interviews, and/or caregiver interviews.
  2. Meeting with clients to assess their histories, conditions, and needs.
  3. Creating treatment plans using various methods, such as behavior therapy or psychotherapeutic techniques.
  4. Collaborating with doctors and other health care providers.
  5. Counseling people and families experiencing difficult situations through individual or group therapy.
  6. Individual psychotherapy with children, adults, and families.
  7. Provide information and referral services.
  8. Crisis assessments/triage with appropriate interventions.
  9. Documentation and scheduling in electronic health record.
  10. Demonstrate proficient skill in evidence-based practices and theories to work with adults, children, and their families.

  1. Masters degree in social work from an accredited school or higher education
  2. Minimum of 3 years’ experience preferred
  3. Current LCSW (Texas License)
  4. BLS preferred.
  5. Experience with remote work & telehealth required
