Sleep Study Program

Seminole Memorial Hospital is excited to announce that a new sleep study program is coming right here to the community with a new state of the art 2 bed sleep lab. The staff offers over 20 years experience and will provide the most professional quality of care.

Sleep Apnea

Sleep apnea is a serious sleep disorder that occurs when a person’s breathing is interrupted during sleep. People with untreated sleep apnea stop breathing repeatedly during their sleep, sometimes hundreds of times. This means the brain and the rest of the body may not get enough oxygen. Sleep apnea can affect anyone at any age, even children.

Untreated sleep apnea may be responsible for poor performance in everyday activities, such as at work and school, motor vehicle crashes, and academic underachievement in children and adolescents.

The testing is done in a room that is set up much like a hotel. Our trained staff will help ensure that you have a comfortable stay, and ease any anxiety that you may have.

If you are experiencing any of these symptoms contact your health care provider to see if a sleep study might be beneficial.
