Biography

Dr. Logan Niehues grew up in Wall, Texas on a farm with his parents and 3 siblings. Logan’s Dad grew cotton and regularly enlisted the kids to help on the farm. Logan learned a work ethic from this, but perhaps even more importantly that he wanted a different calling in life. On the path to medical school Logan first attended undergrad near home, at Angelo State University and earned a BS in Computer Science-Magna Cum Laude (he also minored in Math, Biology, and Chemistry).

Logan then attended the Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center School of Medicine where he earned his MD and was the recipient of the Health Sciences Center Presidential Medicine Scholarship.  Dr. Niehues then completed Residency Training at the Scott and White Emergency Medicine Residency Program in Temple, Texas.

Seven long years later and Dr. Niehues is ecstatic to move back to San Angelo and make a home with his wife Mary. Dr. Niehues always dreamed of returning home to treat the people he feels most connected to, and looks forward to serving the people of West Texas and the surrounding areas.

In his spare time Logan loves spending time with his wife, hunting deer and dove, traveling, and reading fiction novels.
