20 Feb Day Certified Nursing Assistant – MHCC

Under the general supervision of the Charge Nurse or Clinic Manager, administers direct bedside nursing care to patients/residents assigned, assuring their safety and comfort. Observes instructions of the nursing/clinical staff and performs in line with established routine, providing maximum resident /clinical care services to assure well­being of residents/patients to the greatest degree.

Shift(s): Full-Time, Daytime
Location(s): Memorial Health Care Center

Physical and Mental Requirements

Duties of the position require extended periods of standing and walking. Bending stooping twisting, reaching, and lifting up to fifty pounds. Occasional heavy lifting when moving or supporting residents who may suddenly become weak or helpless.

Job Qualifications

Education

• High school graduate or equivalent, preferred

Licensure, Registry and Certifications

• Must be currently Certified as a Nurse Aide in the State of Texas

Experience

Prior Work Experience

• One year of experience in a medical setting preferred
