Stock Clerk

Performs duties involved in receiving, storing, issuing, and delivering supplies for the Hospital District.

Shift(s): Hourly, Non-exempt, Call, No Differentials
Supervises: None
Location(s): Seminole Hospital District

Primary Responsibilities

Receives and stocks supplies.

  1. Helps check supplies received against purchase documents or invoices.
  2. Places supplies in proper storage area in the stock room.

Delivers supplies to departments.

  1. Delivers supplies received direct to departments is stock levels are not maintained in stock room (Non-Stocks)
  2. Fills and delivers orders for supplies from the stock room  to requesting departments (Store Requisitions).

Assists supervisor in inventory control for supplies and equipment.

  1. Helps place identification tags on equipment.
  2. Assist in checking supply inventory levels.
  3. Assist in conducting equipment and supply inventories.

  11. Reports adverse events regarding patients, guests, or self to supervisor immediately.

High School Graduate or equivalent preferred
