Registered Polysomnographic Technologist
Location(s): Seminole Hospital District
Reports to: Respiratory Care Director
Responsibilities and skill requirements:
- Calibration of equipment
- Strong troubleshooting skills
- Strong attention to detail and communication skills
- Maintains accurate documentation, organizational skills
- Properly prepare patients for study, explaining procedures such as electrodes and sensors and ensuring comfort
- Follow HIPPA and facility protocols
- Clean, organize, and restock equipment and supplies
Education and Experience Requirements
- RPSGT Certification
- Knowledge of AASM Scoring rules (if trained)
- BLS/ACLS certification
- At least one year of experience in polysomnography
- Experience with Alice /System
